We are an IIT Bombay startup working with drones for the last 10 years. We have won awards in competitions globally including IMAV France, ICUG Spain, MICAV Bengaluru, Techfest Mumbai among many others. Through the open source Pluto platform, we plan to democratise the process of drone innovation.

Dinesh Sain
Founder & CEO – Drona Aviation
Aerospace engineer and IIT Bombay alumnus, Dinesh founded Drona Aviation with a vision to make drone technology accessible to students across India. Under his leadership, the company developed Pluto — India’s programmable nano drone, now used by thousands of students in schools, engineering colleges, and innovation labs. Dinesh actively works with educators, institutions, and industry partners to bring hands-on drone learning into mainstream STEM education.
