From Zero to Flight — One Workshop at a Time
How Drona Aviation is putting real drone technology into the hands of school and college students, and why it might be the most exciting thing happening in Indian education right now.

Imagine sitting in a workshop, staring at a box of motors, propellers, circuit boards, and screws, and by the end of the day, that pile of parts has become a drone you built with your own hands, flying across the room under your command. That's not a scene from a sci-fi film. That's a Tuesday afternoon in a Drona Aviation workshop.
At Drona Aviation, we don't just talk about drone technology, we hand it to you. We're a Mumbai-based company that designs and manufactures educational drones, and our workshops are built on one belief:
The best way to learn is to Build, Fly, and Code.
"Every great engineer once held something they didn't yet understand, and figured it out anyway. We create that moment."
Why Drones in Schools & Colleges?
Drones are no longer a niche hobby or a military tool. They're reshaping agriculture, logistics, filmmaking, disaster response, and infrastructure inspection. The global drone market is exploding, and India is rapidly emerging as a major player, with the government pushing drone adoption under its Production Linked Incentive (PLI) scheme.
But here's the gap: most students graduate with zero practical exposure to drone technology, even those studying engineering or computer science. That's the problem Drona Aviation was built to solve. We bring the future directly into classrooms, for both school students and college learners, through structured, hands-on workshops designed to meet students exactly where they are.
